Danielle Sepsy is known as "The Scone Queen" for good reason: her scones, which had been delighting New Yorkers for years, won national attention after being praised by Dan Levy and the judges of HBO Max's "The Big Brunch."


With newfound attention from the television show, plus the large social media following our team built alongside Danielle, she secured a publishing deal for her debut cookbook, aptly titled The Scone Queen Bakes. But landing the deal was only half the battle.


How could we successfully launch the cookbook and help her achieve her dream of landing on The New York Times Bestsellers List?

WHAT WE DID

A 360° Launch Built to Move Books

We developed a comprehensive marketing plan spanning social media content, influencer collaborations, live events, and strategic corporate partnerships, with every touchpoint working in concert to build anticipation and drive preorders. 
 

Recognizing the power of earned media to amplify the campaign, we also assisted in identifying and hiring a PR agency, then worked hand-in-hand with them and the book's publisher to craft a cohesive strategy that would carry Danielle's story to national media.
